Maths Reflection 23/9/11

During maths this week I learnt how to find out how many ones, tens, hundreds and thousands are in all of a whole number.

For E.G
The zoo only accepts $10 notes for entry.
How many $10 notes would be needed if Mr Green’s class cost $260?

260 divided by 10 = 26
He would need 26 $10 notes.

Maths

This week I’ve been learning to use reversibility as a strategy.
For e.g. 137 - 68 if you can’t do that you just revers it. 68 + ? = 137

Maths Reflection

During maths this week I learnt about my measurement. Measurement is like measuring a pencil, or a door, etc. To measure a door you would have to use (cm) center meter or a (m) meter. From St Pius the tenth catholic school to Tamaki college it’s 5 (km) Kilo meter.
Also I've learnt my reversibility. For example 55 + 20 so you swap it around and it's 20 + something = 55 so the answer is 35.
