Conscience

Today for Religous Education I learnt this new word called " conscience ". Conscience is a part of me me which enables me whether something is right or wromg.

Pentecost

In Room 7 our topic in Religious Education was Pentecost & the Ascension. This is my title page of Pentecost. Jesus promised the apostle that he will sent them the Holy Spirit. Pentecost is how the Tongue of fire appeared to the Apostle. The apostle had the tongue of fire on there heads because they all believe in Jesus the Messiah.

Yr 8 Retreat

As we got to St. Francis center the yr8 was welcomed from Br Phillip. The first thing we did was to go to the chapel and to light our candles. After we finished lighting all our candles we all went to our rooms and put our bags in our rooms and came back to the activity room ready for the first activity.

My favourite activity was the treasure hunt. We had to all hold a long toilet paper and look for six clues. We found our first clue with a little help from a helper named Joanne. In the next clue we had help again but not from Joanne, but from Br Philip. We soon found our third & fourth clue, but again we were helped to find our last clue not from Joanne, and not from Br Philip but from Miss Ana.

Holy spirit in the Scripture

Today I learnt Psalm 142.5 is about when you are in a really bad mess you pray to the lord and he will answer.

A prayer to jesus

Dear Jesus,

Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Help me to forgive others and to love one another .Thank you for giving me a father like you.Help me to forgive people who have done something bad, may I be forgiving like you.

AMEN

The day of ashes

On Wednesday we, Saint Pius the tenth had a Ash Wednesday mass. First I got change in to the altar service clothes and serve the mass. We started at the back and walked slowly back to the front while the entrance hum was being sung,as soon as I got to the front I bowed to the altar and went to our seats. After the song the readers said some prayers. Then sums then prayers again. Finally its time, we are going to bless our baby's. As soon as we finished we ended the mass with the final song and walked slowly back.
